ME AND MY LEFT BRAIN is a new film from Greek-Australian writer/director/actor Alex Lykos and follows on from his critically acclaimed film Alex and Eve. Lykos summarises his film as a romantic comedy about love, career choices and the paralysing effect of over thinking. Sezary Skubiszewsk, an AACA award winning composer, has created an all jazz score for the film, the first of its kind to be made in Australia.
The Red Carpet itself was a bit of a nerve wracking experience in that the impatient photographers had to wait until the film’s actors finished drinking in a cafe across the road from the red carpeted Randwick Ritz cinema.
However once they crossed the road and onto the Red Carpet they were absolutely ebullient when facing the lenses and flashes.
ME AND MY LEFT BRAIN is screening at selected cinemas now.
