is this anything? baby’s screaming : a poem

BABY’S SCREAMING

Baby's screaming
Baby's playing up and crying
she's got no sense of timing
we've gone all the way to go to the beach
but our baby's crying
is well out of our reach

Baby always wants to make a final stand
and it's all getting out of hand
Baby keeps on crying for more
Our love is not coming out that sure

Baby won't stop crying out
and we start to shout

Baby's screaming
and I,
I could cry.

David Kary

This poem is about trying to put some words together to describe the helpless kind of feeling one gets when one sees/hears a baby or a child in distress.
