This would be an interesting event for theatre lovers to attend.
Wendy Beckett, the founder of the elegant Beckett’s restaurant in Glebe. Herselt a playwright, she has invited some of Australia’s finest playwrights to come together and dine at her restaurant.
Playwrights who will be attending the event include Alana Valentine, Hilary Bell, Reg Cribb, Campion Decent and Stephen Sewell.
As well as enjoying the wining and dining amongst colleagues, the attendees will also enjoy an irreverent 25 minute performance by comedian Peter Burne.
