colossus colossus art exhibition

An exhibition extravaganza by New York and Sydney artists Ara Koopelian and Garnet Mae.

Ara Koopelian Works is inspired by the Francesco Goya painting “ the Colossus” which explores the human form as the political destructive vehicle to protest the disaster and horror of war.

Koopelian through painting and photography applies the same critique through art to question the horror of war.

Garnet Mae’s work will polarise spectators. Looking beyond the primordial, Mae’s work is a dream of infinite hedonism, a homage to the dreamscapes of Gustav Klimt and Norman Lindsay with references to Jackson Pollock and Brett Whitely.
