I saw the film could this be love as part of thjis year’s french film festival. This was an funny, bubbly, entertaining romantic comedy.
The main character was a very successful French businessman who had been burnt badly romantically. A new woman starts at work and he is interested in her. He is distrustworthy though and decides to get a private eye to spy on her and see what he can dig up, before he makes his move. All sorts of complications ensue on the way to his romantic wishes being fulfilled.
‘Could this be love?’ is cute and charming…the leading actress has a great smile….the private eye and his surveillance van are classic stuff…..some of the misunderstandings cleverly done..the romantic sequences are snappy and light..the ending never in doubt..a lovely way to spend a couple of hours in the cinema.
