Sarah Fenn, a descendant from a long line of witches, lives in the present-day English coastal town of Sanctuary. Here, she uses her powers for good, to heal and support her fellow townsfolk and friends. Her teenage daughter, Harper, failed to inherit her mother’s gift of magic, but when Harper’s boyfriend, Dan, high school sports star and son of Sarah’s best friend, Abigail, dies in suspicious circumstances, rumours begin to fly that he was murdered by magic − with the finger pointing at Harper and Sarah.
