ELVIS A MUSICAL REVOLUTION is a new musical detailing the origins and the extraordinary life of the King Of Rock and Roll.
Producer David Venn has chosen Sydney’s State Theatre to be the venue for the musical’s World Premiere season.
After an extensive search of over 700 applicants theatre and television star Rob Mallett was selected to play the iconic role of Elvis. Growing up in Tasmania’s Huon Valley, Mallett nearly joined the Army like Elvis. After studying numerous Elvis YouTube’s he found it relatively easy to slip in to the role of Elvis as he had the same vocal range as the King of Rock and Roll.
Annie Chiswell, who plays Priscilla Presley, said she had an affinity with Priscilla’s inner strength but contrasted Priscilla’s quiet reserve with her own extroverted and boisterous nature.
