Friends of Bondi Pavilion are throwing open the doors of the Pavilion on Saturday 16th November for a day and night community celebration of Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach and Bondi neighbourhood, and we want you to be part of it!
There’ll be a FREE full day and evening of activities, including over 80 local performers, live music including fantastic local bands, capoeira, dance, art workshops, projections, food stalls and a 1940s Pavilion cabaret inspired Palm Orchestra Ballroom with live big band, tango demonstrations, PLUS Festivilion at Night, starting with a GALA EVENT and parade at 7pm followed by FIESTA themed bar, Salsa dancing, music on the balcony, Open Mic Cultural Cafe and yet to be announced programming highlights.
“We have been blown away by the generosity of our creative community who have jumped at the chance to be involved in FESTIVILION. It’s a jam-packed festival program including some special surprises. After fighting to Save Bondi Pavilion as a community and cultural centre we are delighted to be able to present such an inclusive community event, especially before the long-awaited building restoration commences next year.
