Framed by in my opinion the most beautiful beach in Australia, if not the world, photographs hung on the featured promenade railings have been battered by La Nina storms such that this exhibition has been extended.
In addition atop the Bondi Beach Park hill there are several giant photos placed as triangles such that you circle them in order to view them all.
The photographs are, at times, emphasising things such as atmosphere and speed, others are photo essays such as those of a Jewish photographer and his family stuck in the New York district as well as photos hung for their individual impact. Often these photos are presented as a quartet or sextet, all complementing each other, despite the fact that they are taken by different photographers at different times and places.
There is something for everyone at this vast and diverse collection by Head On.
