mca summer season 2022-2023 launched

Do Ho Suh | 2022/2023 Sydney International Art Series exhibition

Do Ho Suh at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia is the renowned South Korean artist’s first major solo exhibition in Southern Hemisphere.

Do Ho Suh is known for his large-scale sculptures and architectural installations, which address the often-complex relationships between the body, memory and space. Spanning three decades, from the 1990s to now, the Sydney-exclusive exhibition will present emblematic works across a wide range of media, including large-scale installations, sculptures, drawings, printmaking, and video works.

Accompanying the exhibition will be an array of public programs, including the free Do Ho Suh Family Space: Draw Home, a dedicated MCA Late with the theme Finding Home, an artist talk with Do Ho Suh, Korean film screenings in partnership with the Korean Cultural Centre, K-pop dance classes, and exhibition tours in Korean. A Korean menu will also be available at the MCA Café.

Primavera 2022: Young Australian Artists

Now in its 31st year, Primavera is the MCA’s annual exhibition showcasing the work of a new generation of Australian artists aged 35 years and under.
