mr baileys minder by debra oswald @ the guild theatre in rockdale

THE MINDER (Therese) fails to fully engage her brain, before blurting out “Looking after a scrungy old drunk is dead-set the best job I am gonna get.” Very entertaining elder-abuse drama about the famous gifted painter, who has become the alcoholic senior citizen, now resented by his daughter. and his daughter was having difficulty finding a replacement minder until Therese arrives and takes charge. Therese hails from Cessnock NSW, and this will be her first job, after leaving prison.

The four actors, each deliver beautifully crafted character-driven performances, all with interesting backstories. Therese as played by Jessica James-Moody, provides a truely memorable experience, that you must see. Highly Recommended.
