Sharmill Films will be releasing its latest National Theatre Live production Henry V, starring Kit Harington (Game of Thrones, West End’s War Horse) in the leading role, in select Australian cinemas on June 25.
The production is a vivid contemporary adaption set to modern dress. Henry V is one of Shakespeare’s hugely popular ‘histories’ telling the story of young King Henry taking England into battle with France. Expect iconic speeches, spectacular performances and mesmerising military action. The brand-new production has been met with excellent critical reception.
To celebrate its release, Sharmill Films is hosting a preview screening of the production at Dendy Newtown on Tuesday June 14, 10:30am.
