sullivan and strumpf : hiromi tango : new now

How do we define now? How can we adapt to new realities and build resilience and hope in these challenging times?

Japanese-Australian artist Hiromi Tango poses these poignant questions in New Now. Drawing on Tango’s personal experiences in 2020, the artist reimagines herself and her practice to heal the landscape and unite people in a time when so many of us feel disconnected.

Sullivan+Strumpf is delighted to present New Now in our Sydney gallery and online Viewing Room. To experience this exhibition and additional content online, including all 22 works, a short film, video work and poetry by Hiromi, access the Viewing Room by entering your email address. Enjoy
