Harry Hartog’s Kids Book Club is beginning on the 30th of April from 4pm-5pm in the second-hand area just outside the front of the store. The Kids Book Club will meet on a monthly basis.
It will be led by Harry Hartog staff member Jazzy who is hoping to have some author visits in future Book Club meetings.
For the first meeting Jazzy has asked the kids to bring along their favourite book so that they can get to know each other and discuss what type of books they like reading.
At the moment, The Kids Book Club is just for kids aged 10-12 but Jazzy envisages that she may start up Book Clubs for older kids in the future.
