THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES – Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead, with a look of terror still etched on his face, and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body. Sherlock Holmes with Dr Watson will solve the dark mystery death. Let the comedy antics begin.

Based on the most famous case of Holmes and Watson. Yes the detective game is afoot. Savage, hellish, dangerous, spectral hound roams the Baskerville Estate and the moor. Quite unnatural forces at work, and deliberately complicated by the escape of a vicious convict, and clever fearsome foe.

A wonderfully ridiculous comedy performance of the famous whodunnit. Using a minimalist set, this well-crafted comedy, is so much fun and just so very clever, with a cast of three actors, all delighting in performing, each and every expected character from the famous book. Director Richard Cotter, has selected the perfect female cast for Sherlock Holmes and et al (Alyona Popova) and Doctor Watson (Kate Easlea) both delivering brilliant comedy performances.

Aided and abetted in the comedy by Mr. Baskerville (Oliver Harcourt-Ham) as many many of the multiple characters seen during the play. Everyone in the cast, has perfect comedic timing. The blocking is just perfect, with furniture, fireplaces, doors, and beds etc quickly wheeled onto and off the stage, and often with huge laughter from the audience. Highly Recommended.
