thrones – the musical parody @ sydney opera house

THRONES – THE MUSICAL PARODY and yes highly recommended because the whole hilarious 120 minutes is an absolutely amazing laugh fest. This unauthorised musical parody of all eight seasons of the delicious cable television show HBO GAME OF THRONES, about the books, about George R.R. Martins imaginative world, about the powerful families who want the Iron Throne and to rule the Seven Kingdoms in the fictional land of Westeros. George R.R. Martins best-selling book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” became HBO GAME OF THRONES.

THRONES – THE MUSICAL PARODY huge sold-out overseas seasons since 2015, as seen in Edinburgh, Los Angeles, Chicago, and now the latest updated edition, “Winter Is Coming” the long night with an appearance by the Night King, all live on stage at the Sydney Opera House.

Initially set in the television room of the newly-divorced Linda who has never ever watched the Game of Thrones, with her fanatic Game of Thrones friends. The superb ensemble cast of six appear in dozens of multiple roles covering some fifty characters, and full of the best spoilers/reminders. Highlighting all eight seasons, including singing the names of more than seventy-five GORT characters. GOT character costumes created from household curtains, door mats, bathmats, towels and more. Localised for Sydney, plus Trump and his wall, with heaps of clever pop-culture references to many other current television series and movies.

And just the perfect ending, when you thought that it was all over, the magnificent fun starts again, an absolute must-see comedy experience.
