This year’s Vivid Festival had a record breaking attendance, up from two and a half million last year to three and a half million this year.
Circular Quay was choked on the nights that the drone flying formations lit up Sydney Cove. Unfortunately there were only four performances during the two week festival .
As compensation, favourites Customs House, the MCA and the Sydney Opera House had ‘new coats’ of protected artwork, in particular the Sydney Opera House was daubed with some works by the late John Olsen and First Nations artists.
